+1. FWIW, example of xrandr:

xrandr --output VGA-1 --mode 1680x1050 --pos 0x0 --rotate
left --output LVDS-1 --off --output HDMI-3 --off --output
HDMI-2 --off --output HDMI-1 --off --output DP-3 --off
--output DP-2 --off --output DP-1 --primary --mode 1920x1080
--pos 1050x600 --rotate normal

There is a GUI (x11/arandr) to make the configuration easier.
