Running 11.0 system. Did Freebsd-update upgrade -r 11.1-RELEASE.
All seemed to go fine. However, on the first reboot after the freebsd-install install command, the system crashes with the following output:

/boot/kernel/kernel text=0x14972f8 data=0x1384c0+0x4c15e8 syms=[0x8+0x15e8b0+0x8+0x178422]
/boot/entropy size=0x1000

It then goes through that same cycle a few times and then hangs permanently. Trying to revert to previous system.
