Krad thanks for the link on proxmox but is for linux. my choice is FREEBSD on all virtual machines and host machine (mature, great documentation and for users who know what they are doing) and i prefer to control everything i'm using instead of using third party tools. I have to choose between jails or full computer virtualization (which I don't want at this time). Thanks again

Now that gvim is working inside a jail, a development for which I am
truly grateful, I get an error that I do not see when I run gvim from
the underlying host.
[root at hll124 ~]# gvim /etc/ssh/sshd_config
Xlib: extension "RANDR" missing on display "hll124:10.0".
[root at hll124 ~]# pkg info | grep randr
libXrandr-1.5.1_2 X Resize and Rotate extension library
xrandr-1.5.0 Primitive command line interface to the
RandR extension
What needs to be done on the jail (11.2-RELEASE-p4) to eliminate this
error?
