Hi

I am trying to install FreeBSD via a Serial Console(i am using the
FreeBSD-11.0-RELEASE-amd64-mini-memstick.img, but i am unable to get
it to work. I only see "Booting.." then it appears the system hangs,
it doesn't request an ip from my dhcp server either.

I found the instructions at
https://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/serialconsole-setup.html,
but i don't have a way to mount a freebsd ufs img

is there a way to enable the Serial Console at the Boot Prompt?

Cheers Adam
