FreeBSD 11.0 to FreeBSD 11.1 update concerns

All right

1)  Up to 28 July 2017  I was able to compile a openssl 1.0.2 mightly release
with FIPS.

On 29 July , I get

/usr/local/sbin/pkg-static info -g -Ea).

All right yet on my other server running a similar hardware configuration
no errors.

What gives?

Also, the FreBSD 11.0 -> 11.1 did not go as smoothly as expeacted.
