Can I use FreeBSD as a desktop system?

Is FreeBSD's Firefox not capable, or does the website discriminate against the user-agent string that shows FreeBSD?

You could, through about:config or Firefox add-on, modify the user-agent string so that the OS shows as Windows or Mac OS.
