turning off the touchpad

Do you have the command
in /bin or /usr/bin or /sbin or /usr/sbin ...etc ???
If yes, then you can turn it off and on with that command.
synclient Touchpadoff=1 # turn it off
synclient Touchpadoff=0 # turn it on
