I had seen that site: it gives max. horizontal and max. vertical 
resolution, but doesn't say if I could achieve them at the same time.

Also does that mean that any intermediate resolution is feasible?

Again, then, this states "Windows XP and Windows Vista" as "Operating 
Systems", so I'd like to know if this applies to X.Org too (and 
specifically to FreeBSD).
