help with natd on pi

i asked on the arm list got only 1 reply and he had same issue, so i ask 
here.

running -current on rasberry pi but for the life of me i cannot get natd to
accept a packet without crashing.

i can start natd and it will stay running as long as i dont add the 
divert rule
to ipfw, as soon as i do natd core dumps with signal 10.

anyone know what to check for i am out of ideas.
