Yup, Mr. Badal pointed that out. I installed the plain valgrind & all 
went well. I surmised that the '-devel' version might be for work on the 
tool itself, but don't know for sure. If they are indeed identical, I 
suppose 1 ought to be removed .... Thanks :-).
