Ah, I'm on 10.0-RELEASE and 10-STABLE. If you simply want to update 
/usr/ports, why not use portsnap? It works well enough for me.

If you specifically want a light version of svn, take look at the 
net/svnup port. I started using that before svnlite turned up, and still 
do out of habit.
