Bring You Own Device(BYOD)

In this age of BYOD, I am trying to see what we have out there in the FOSS
world.

Is there someone with a recommendation for a solution for implementing a
BYOD for a team of about 50 or so?

I have seen SAP Afaria demo video and was wondering if BYOD is gonna be a
field for proprietaries only.
