Exactly _what_ did yo do to get into single-user mode?

Exactly _what_ did you do when in single-usermode *before* issuing the
'mergemaster-p' (sic) commnd?

Did you read the _entire_ directions on how to do the upgrade?

Do you know _which_ step(s) in the *documented* process you failed to perform,
prior to running mergemaser-P'(sic)

Did you have a _good_ reason for failing to follow those direcions?

When you can elucidate reasonable answers to all of those questions, you
will have taken the first steps on the path to enlightnment, grasshopper.
