Slightly OT: Hardware For FreeNAS

Slightly OT, but since it's based on FreeBSD, I thought I'd start
here...

Can anyone recommend a good hardware platform (components) around
which to build a FreeNAS server?  The important non-functional
requirements are:

1) Quiet to the point of silent.
2) Reliable/redundant
