Cleaning /var/db/portsnap/files/, how?

Sorry for not answering your question, but allow me a little
sidenote regarding the proper terminology.

FreeBSD, as every UNIX OS, has *directories*, not "folders".
You do also use the name "files", not "sheets of paper",
don't you? :-)
