need help with nvidia drivers

The following files do not exist on my system
/compat/linux/sbin/modprobe
/dev/nvidia1
/dev/nvidia2
%nvidia-settings --glxinfo
GLX Information for pocket-peoples.net.:0.0:
Segmentation fault

    Load           "dri" <-- REMOVE THIS !
