updated "world" to CURRENT, how to update ports to CURRENT?

What made me worry about this was reading


The Ports Collection supports the latest release on the FreeBSD-CURRENT
and FreeBSD-STABLE branches....

I have now thrown away the /usr/ports which came from the 70R CDROM and
did a

# cvs checkout ports

now, for example, ports/UPDATING is bleeding edge;
