Hide Terminal window (using xfce4. and 7.2-RELEASE)?

I'm not familar with MATLAB but you may find ports/sysutils/screen
helpful.  See http://www.gnu.org/software/screen/ for more
information.  I use it for starting some programs in a detached
mode but they can be reattached at any time.
