FreeBSD 7 server in hang with nagios

When I try to log in console after insert username: "root" the server stay
in hang and i can't insert  password...

How do I know if disk subsystem is locked ?


which value and where can i set kern.maxbcache ? or do You suggest
anythingelse ?
