Acroread8 problem on 6.4?

Hi,

I just installed acroread8 on a new box, 6.4 amd64.

When I try to launch acroread, I get:

cannot set up thread-local storage: cannot set up LDT for thread-local storage


What does that mean?

How to make it work?
