Problems upgrading GNUTLS 2.2.2 to 2.4.0

This isn't a solution, just an issue I had too.

When I upgraded from 2.2.5 to 2.4.0, I also got that message about a
version mis-match for Automake. However, this did not stop the build
process, and it installed successfully.
