Whenever I open X, or close it I get a similar error message. The message that appears when I close X is thus: xauth: (argv):1: bad display name "remdog:0" in "remove" command "remdog" is the hostname of my computer. None of this seems to have and adverse affect on operations, but I would still like to know what is going on here. Cheers, Rem
