To clarify Kris' response:
amd64 = AMD/Intel 64bit capable CPUs
ia64 = Intel Itanium
So if you're looking for an x86 compatible install CD, then you'll be
wanting the amd64 version.
(sorry for the direct reply Kris, I'm not used to mailing lists that don't
