Sooner or later. this messages will be followed by something along the
line of
ad6: WRITE_DMA failed
and you'll get READ_DMA failures as well.
As others have suggested, do not trust this drive.
You may command
atacontrol mode ad6 pio
or put
hw.ata.ata_dma=0
in loader.conf.
The errors will disappear. Use this if you can't backup because the reads
fail.
Worked for me. YMMV.
