Moved the file out of the way, but still the same result :

[beni at bsdaddict /usr/home/beni]$ linux-firefox
The program 'firefox-bin' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'.
