You need to put the following in /etc/periodic.conf;

# Where to store/send output of periodic runs.
daily_output="yourusername"
weekly_output="yourusername"
monthly_output="yourusername"
daily_status_security_inline="YES"

Where 'yourusername' needs the obvious replacement.
