pkg_add problems

there is no such package bash. there's only bash-someversionofbashport

for example bash-3.1.16

get a look at 
tp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/i386/packages-6.1-release/Latest/ 
to see what version of bash is available
