Hmm... I don't know what to do any more. Sorry.
As a last proposal, how about audacity-devel
(ports/audio/audacity-devel)?
AFAIK, there is a limitation for the stable version of Audacity
(ports/audio/audacity) to use USB microphones. See the URLs below.
