what is the proper way to disable fortune? i deleted the .login file from my homedir... and it still runs at login! i would just as soon prefer to not see it when i log into my systems. can someone point me in the right direction? chmod -x on the binary seems to work... but i would rather know the proper way. cheers, jonathan
