Sendmail / Mailscanner issues

I've installed sendmail on a 6.1 system. It will send mail internally and externally with no problem. I've now put MailScanner into the mix. I've done what I believe to be the necessary configuration, but am getting the following error in the maillog file....

  Can anyone identify from this what is causing the connection to be refused ??
