permission denied on /dev/ttyd0

Hello..
It's kinda strange though but I am getting a permission denied when I
try to read from the /dev/ttyd0 device although I have:
crw------- 1 root wheel 0, 75 Jul 1 20:49 /dev/ttyd0
crw------- 1 root wheel 0, 76 Jul 1 20:45 /dev/ttyd0.init
crw------- 1 root wheel 0, 77 Jul 1 20:45 /dev/ttyd0.lock
I'm running the command minicom and here is my minicom configuration
