Ctrl+Alt+number terminal switching stopped working

For starters, isn't it usually Ctrl+Alt+F1, Ctrl+Alt+F2, etc? 

Second, there's an option in your xorg.conf file for "DontVTSwitch".
Could that have accidentally been turned on?
