portupgrade -s and NFS /usr/ports?

i don't save packages but i do have clients downloading into distifiles 
as req'd by having /usr/ports and /usr/ports/distfiles as seperate 
filessystems.   /usr/ports is  then mounted readonly and 
/usr/ports/distfiles readwrite with maproot etc.
