fk at TP51 ~ $ls -l /dev/acd0
crw-rw---- 1 root operator 0, 99 Apr 30 13:28 /dev/acd0
fk at TP51 ~ $id
uid=1001(fk) gid=1001(fk) groups=1001(fk), 0(wheel), 5(operator), 201(privoxy)
To get these permissions I have:
fk at TP51 ~ $grep ^perm /etc/devfs.conf
perm smb0 0660
perm acd0 0660
perm xpt0 0660
perm pass0 0660
If your user isn't already part of the operator group you
could add him/her, or make /dev/acd0 world readable (0664).
