Trouble Compiling courier-authlib-0.55

I can't get courier-authlib-0.55 from source package to compile on
FreeBSD4.11 any have any pointers? Your time and help is appreciated.

./configure --prefix=/usr/local --exec-prefix=/usr/local\
--with-authvchkpw --without-authldap --without-authmysql \
--disable-root-check --with-ssl \
--with-authchangepwdir=/usr/local/libexec/authlib 

courier-authlib-0.55 source package error on make:

It also fails in ports.
