DNS and Gateway in FreeBSD?

I didn't remember I have added the gateway "13.198.32.1". I manually added the ip address (13.198.33.131) and netmask (255.255.252.0), so I wonder how the gateway was added into this file.

And I didn't have any DNS setting here. Yet it can "ping www.yahoo.com" successfully. Quite strange. :(
