FreeBSD/Fedora Core 3/Windows XP

I have installed Windows Xp and Fedora Core 3 on the
same hard drive, in another drive is FreeBSD, after
FreeBSD 5.3 installation, GNU/GRUB boot loader does
not work with FreeBSD; according to the GRUB manual
the following sholud work

# For booting FreeBSD
title FreeBSD 5.3
root  (hda1,2,c)
kernel boot/loader/    

I would like to know what is missing,
