About mount root and usr -ro?

   If you have a machine running only a firewall, there some
advantages mounting / and  /usr -ro
or is dangers?
    Once you setup your rules, disable every thing we dont need, and
closing the box for a long time the box will be alone.
     I am running 4.10-p5.
