Why the version I see on the official website is different(newer) from the ones I get to install?

See Jonathan's answer.  I misread the portversion output, which is in
fact correct for your (non-updated) system.  Although you may have
needed to fetch INDEX-5 once you did update your ports anyway, so the
advice wasn't wasted :-)
