newsyslog.conf question

Garance, 

Please add this. If I can help by testing out
functionality, I definitely will. This will help out
greatly in satisfying audit issues like 
Sarbanes-Oxley, etc...

So, in the mean time, does anyone have a script that
will do this via cron or something?
