Help cron has gone berzerk

Hi

For some reason on the 13th of this month something went haywire with
cron. Below is a couple samples of what I am getting in root mail, any
inlightenment on this would very appreciated.

Date: Wed, 22 Sep 2004 03:40:00 -0500 (CDT)

To: root at agnes
Subject: Cron <root at agnes> root /usr/libexec/atrun

root: not found

operator: not found
