Problem with LG 8525B CD Writer.

Hi

I am trying to burn some iso images using burncd
Dmesg : acd0: CDRW <HL-DT-ST GCE-8525B> at ata1-master PIO4

burncd -f  /dev/acd0 data image.iso fixate

Everything works fine but when I try to do mount_cd9660  /dev/acd0 /mnt I am 
getting the following error 
mount_cd9660: /dev/acd0: Input/output error

I am trying to make a bootable CD
