I am thinking of downloading a learning adition of MAYA and atempting to run it on my BSD box I am running X with a GNOME desktop I think this is an attempt at porting can anyone give me some advice. I really want to play with the way MAYA handles autocad files and vice versa, both of wich are not supported by BSD what am I getting into and is it possible.
