I've tried proftp but the documentation sucks and I'm having an impossible time trying to get it to work with my LDAP server so I'm looking for alternatives. Anyone know any that support ldaps:/// connections to an external ldap server? I haven't been able to get pam working with proftpd either which is annoying.
