Where is this dependency on openssl-0.9.7d coming from?

What disturbed me was that the b/r-deps lists for something like kdelibs 
doesn't show openssl but in the Makefile there is a line

USE_OPENSSL=    yes

and it shows up in the required by list for openssl.
