X: bad display name

Hello Maksym:

 You need to have the proper hostnames in /etc/hosts:
::1                     localhost localhost.covad.net notebook.covad.net
127.0.0.1          localhost localhost.covad.net notebook.covad.net

where notebook is my hostname.
