Configuring XFree86 on a Asus L7200 laptop

Hi,
 
I do not succeed configuring XFree86 on my Asus L7200 laptop. 
 
The process seems to go OK all the way but when I launch startx command, I end up with a error message that no screen is configured.
 
Can anyone help?
