Unable to mount CDrom in 5.2, reading past threads is of no help

mount /cdrom yields:

cd9660: /dev/acd0: Invalid argument

/etc/fstab is set up as such:

/dev/acd0    /cdrom      cd9660    ro,noauto    0 0
