IN FOCUS: Summer Programs for Children with a Learning Disability or ADHD
In many areas the ground is still covered with snow; coats, hats and gloves are daily attire, and summer seems far away. But this is the time of year to begin to think about summer programs for children, and begin to get information about the summer program that will be a good match for a child with a learning disability or ADHD. The possibilities of summer camps and programs are almost endless! Would your child like a sleep-away camp or day camp? Should you choose an educational or recreational camp? Would your child benefit from an academically focused camp or a camp that is focused on a special interest (art, music, technology, sports, etc.)?
