SNMP conf

Hi
I have problem configuring SNMP.
After finish installing SNMP 5.1.1
(net-snmp-5.1.1.tar.gz) with no error,
then I tried to configure using :

neon# /usr/local/bin/snmpconf
Not enough arguments for mkdir at /usr/local/bin/snmpconf line 174, near
""$ENV{HOME}/.snmp")"
Execution of /usr/local/bin/snmpconf aborted due to compilation errors.
neon#

what's wrong ?
